Steve Cook is one of the most likeable guys in the fitness industry. He never talks down to people. He looks amazing and does a really good job on inspiring people to live a healthier lifestyle but not necessarily become a huge bodybuilding freak.
Steve Cook calls himself a Bodybuilder/Men’s physique/Athlete and he just proved that last part by participating in a CrossFit workout.
Before walking into the CrossFit gym he silently says to the camera: “Let’s show these CrossFitters that a bodybuilder/men’s physique/athlete can do FRAN”
FRAN is one CrossFit workout that has been known to make men cry like babies. It takes a lot of strength, explosive power and cardiovascular ability to complete this workout.
It goes like this:
Thrusters 21 reps (Thrusters is a front squat followed by push-press in the same movement)
Pullups 21 reps
Thrusters 15 reps
Pullups 15 reps
Thrusters 9 reps
Pullups 9 reps
In as little amount of time as possible.
Steve Cook absolutely kills the workout and does it in just over 3 minutes. After the workout he’s absolutely exhausted (just like everyone would be) and lies on the floor to try and catch his breath.
The guys in the gym congratulate Steve Cook on achieving great results and as Steve Cook catches his breath, he says to the camera “respect to crossfit” and proceeds to leave the gym.
