1 – Consume More Saturated Fat
Saturated fat has unfairly earned itself a bad reputation over the last few years for boosting your cholesterol levels. As many of you know, having high cholesterol levels can lead to many different kinds of diseases.
As a result a lot of effort has been put into getting people to avoid foods that are high in saturated fat to reign in cholesterol levels that are at all-time highs in developed countries.
What all of these studies fail to realize is that consuming saturated fat only puts you at risk if you are already unhealthy (read: obese) however if you are healthy then it will likely have no impact. Consuming saturated fat will, however, boost your testosterone levels as many studies have shown.
As a result, you should look at adding foods like cheese, steak and whole eggs into your diet to make sure you are getting plenty. This simple change can easily have a material impact on your t-levels which means superior muscle growth, faster recovery and less body fat. Oh, and you get to eat more steak!
By consuming more saturated fats anyone can easily increase testosterone naturally using this simple trick!
2 – Perform Resistance Training
No matter what your goal is you should be performing some kind of resistance training. Countless studies have linked weightlifting with higher testosterone levels. However, the impact is much more pronounced when you focus on compound lifts like bench press, squat and deadlift.
These exercises work many different muscle groups and therefore stimulate the highest release of testosterone in the bloodstream. Next time you go to the gym put down the 2lb pink dumbbells and lift some real weight.
By performing exercises like squats and deadlifts you will definitely be able to increase your testosterone naturally. Make sure that you use heavy weights and go hard!
3 – HIIT Cario
HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training is a popular choice for people looking to get the most bang for their buck when it comes to cardio. It has been shown to burn the most amount of calories relative to the time spent training and it helps boost testosterone.
For those who don’t know what it is, you are essentially alternating between intense cardio and non-intense. For example: 1 minute of sprinting followed up by 1 minute of walking, repeated for 20 minutes. Don’t do too much HIIT, however, as going for too long can actually cause your t-levels to drop back down and your body to go catabolic.
4 – Get Plenty of Sleep
We always find it funny how people put tons of effort into their training and dieting, yet fall completely short at what should be the easiest part – sleeping. You see sleeping is one of the most important parts of bodybuilding – just watch any interview with a former olympia winner and they will be sure to touch on it’s importance.
In addition to allowing your body to fully recover and your muscles to grow, it also helps keep your t-levels high.
Many people are not getting enough sleep and therefore not taking advantage of the numerous benefits of having higher testosterone levels. This is probably the easiest way to increase your testosterone naturally.
Lack of sleep has been scientifically proven to lower t-levels. As a result, if you aren’t getting a full 7-8 hours per night not only will you be tired the next day during your workout but you will also be going into the gym with less testosterone flowing through your body.
5 – Identify and Remove Sources of Stress
When you feel stressed-out your body releases a hormone called cortisol. Small amounts of this hormone is fine as it helps us deal with difficult situations. However if you are regularly finding yourself in stressful situations it can have an adverse effect on your gym progress.
Studies show that cortisol and testosterone levels are inversely correlated – that means high cortisol levels lead to lower t-levels.
If you find yourself feeling stressed out a lot because of your job, a particular “friend” or whatnot, you need to see what can be done to reign that in if you are serious about keeping your t-levels at their highest.
6 – Take Vitamin D and Zinc Supplements
Many studies recently have been looking into the benefits of both Vitamin D and Zinc, particularly with regards to testosterone. While they both have numerous benefits outside of heightened t-levels we won’t get into those here because that’s not what you are looking for.
Simply put, men who supplement with Vitamin D and Zinc higher testosterone levels than those who do not. While it is possible to get sufficient Vitamin D naturally from the sun if you live in warm-weather clients, unfortunately we do not all have that luxury.
If you live in a cold-weather climate you are almost certainly deficient in Vitamin D. So have your levels checked and look at adding a supplement to the mix.
Some testosterone boosting supplements contain these ingredients and many more that boost testosterone production. Not all supplements are created equal, check out our complete guide on the proven ingredients that boost testosterone naturally in the body.

So maby you can’t take advantage of all of the tricks above to increase your testosterone.

The uncontrollable factors of my life like having the luxury to sleep more than 6 hours and dealing with stressful situations that I cannot predict in my work and my personal life, is something I cannot do anything about. I know that my testosterone levels could be higher if that was not the case…
